Citing Sources

One of the many perks of using SC DISCUS is that you will find the source citation (already correctly formatted) at the end of each article. But if you use another print or nonprint source, you will need to create a citation for it.

BibMe.org is a free service that not only creates your citations, but also will create your bibliography/works cited page for you. There is even an option to add an annotation to a citation.

Creating a BibMe Account

Although you do not have to create an account to use BibMe, you will want to do so if you wish to be able to access your bibliographies later.

Creating an account is easy. Click on the word "Register" in the top right of the window. The following screen will open.

Once you have completed the form, you are registered and will be able to use the site immediately.
